Rockome Gardens began in the 1930s when a local Arthur business man wishing to provide continued employment during tough times, sent some of his workers out to landscape and build rockworks on his nearby farm just a few miles outside of Arthur.
Later the farm was opened to the public to enjoy.
Today, Rockome's extensive gardens, shops, events and attractions attract tens of thousands of visitors each year. Rockome's new owners now, are expanding the parks offerings with new events being added, making the park a year around attraction. The are special shows, sales and events planned for every weekend that will appeal to all ages. A special emphasis is being made to make the park a learning adventure with every visit.
